UNDER CONTRACT
After 10 days of being on the market, we received our first offer on the house yesterday evening. The couple offered full asking price, but asked that we pay the closing costs and move out on August 15th. Since we have to work the first day in September to have health insurance until September 30th, we asked that we close on September 9th. We also asked that they pay the majority of the closing costs. They agreed to the closing costs, but only pushed the closing date back to August 22nd. So, it seems that we will be living in a hotel for a few weeks before moving. This has all happened so fast, but I am convinced that it is all working out this way because it is meant to be.

Do you not have any friends that you could live at for 10 days or so? I guess there are probably extended stay hotels there. What are you going to do with all your stuff?
