After a frustrating job search, Tiffany accepted a job this afternoon with the Child Advocacy Center of Abilene. She was initially offered the position December 19, but wanted to wait out another lead as a therapist at Shades of Hope in Buffalo Gap (about 6 miles south of Abilene). She was offered a position at Shades of Hope this afternoon, but after a lot of thought decided that the position at the Child Advocacy Center would be a better fit for her and her career ambitions.
Tiffany will be working hand-in-hand with detectives at the Abilene Police Department interviewing juvenile victims of physical and sexual abuse. In addition, she will be interviewing kids that witness a homicide or suicide. Her official title will be Forensic Interview Specialist. Not really my cup of joe, but I guess someone has to do it. She is really looking forward to getting started. Please feel free to send her your congrats, she definitely deserves it.
On the fish front, I get to go out shocking fish tomorrow! The plan is to get some big 'ol bass pictures. Hopefully I can deliver.

Congratulations, Tiffany! What a great job you have landed. And how fulfilling it must be to have been "courted" by two different agencies that wanted you. We are very proud of you, and we know that you will do a tremendous job with those children who need someone just like you in their lives at such a terrible time. Good luck! Love to you both...Aunt Lynn :-)
Thanks Aunt Lynn!
Awesome.
Tiffany - you know how proud we are of you! I believe you have made the right decision, and you have been placed in this job for a reason. You are an amazing young woman, and it won't take long for Abilene to figure that out. Congratulations! We love you so much!
Congrats Tiffer!
