Update 4

We're up and ready for the day. Tiff has been on 2 milliunits/minute of pitocin since midnight and is having regular contractions. Nothing uncomfortable for her but regular nevertheless. The bad news is that her blood pressures are elevated. In fact, she had one that was 158/111! The most recent ones have been 150s/90s so the nurses and Dr. Soheai are keeping a close eye on them. Magnesium is a common treatment to negate ill effects of high blood pressure but makes for a groggy Tiff and a floppy baby. It's not something that Tiff wants but it'll be fine if that's the route we need to go.

We're hoping for an increased dose of pitocin and a water break here in the next few hours.

In other news, Tiff's nurses are awesome. Please know that we are in good hands with folks that really seem to care about both Tiff and baby.

No one who is having active contractions should be allowed to look that good! :) I am praying things get to moving along and that we are soon all loving on this little guy. Love you!

I will have the blog up all day...and will be checking it regularly! Sounds like Tiffany is ready to get down to business...love and hugs to you both.

Haha! Have to share this...my "word verification" for my post was "tifocate"--that word sounds like Tiffany probably feels right now!
